Usability Testing for Real-Time QoS Management

چکیده
This paper presents a usability-testing plan for real-time QoS management. We employ a holistic Three Layer QoS (TRAQS) model that defines three perspectives for the negotiation of QoS. The TRAQS model allows the user to specify the desired QoS by using a QoS Parameter Taxonomy and an Application Taxonomy. For the specification of the desired QoS a variety of graphical and physical interfaces can be used. This paper articulates a usability-testing plan for the various combinations of these graphical and physical user interfaces.
